Siheng Song is one of the most famous pianists among the 1980s. He is also the founder of Chinese multimedia solo concert. Song has achieved awards in lots of international competitions held in Leeds, Dublin, Paris, Shanghai and so on. He won the first prize for seven times and became the best of Chinese people in these competitions. In the 61th International Concours Long-Thibaud-Crespin, Song became the champion and won lots of special awards which was historical among Chinese pianists in the past 70 years. He was regarded as “the undisputed champion, the leader of a new generation of European classical music”.
Song began his multimedia solo concert from 2009, and attracted widespread attention in society. From literature, drama, painting to electronic music, folk music, Song has mixed his classic music with many different art styles. His performance expresses his music concept in not only piano but also the trend of art. < In Search of Haruki Murakami> performed by Siheng Song and Jingfei Li will show the music pieces which is like pearls scattered in between the lines.
Jingfei Li had studied in Paris for many years. She is now a teacher in School of Film and Television Art and Technology in Shanghai University. Her works have achieved lots of awards in both French and China from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, she cooperated with French national contemporary music creation center and created the contemporary multimedia concert <Garden of the Sage>. This concert is co-created by Leiji Chen, who is the performer of Guqin in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, and French musician Thierry PECOU. < Garden of the Sage > has been performed in Nanjing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Xiamen and Shenzhen. The performance was also put on in Reims National Theatre of France.
